  • Amazing effort by Dizzy, considering that is higher than any of the Waughs, Boonies and and Martos highest, absolutly stunning effort, especially considering the last 100 runs came off 129 balls. It's absolutly unheard of, and a record that is going to stand for a long, long time.

  • I am utterly speechless. I am without speech. Honestly, I never, ever thought a total that big would come on the turn anywhere near the future, and when it did, I was amazed, I was shocked, I was stoaked. I also went to bed as it was 2AM in Australian.

  • I believe that the general comments regarding players will cease once the test series starts and everything gets serious, but when it comes down to it, the selectors have been making some rediculous decisions regarding the one day squad, that they can only justafy by saying it's for the World Cup.

  • Don't get me wrong, the Proteas did play very, very well, especially Pollock and Ntini and it would have been incredibly interesting to see what effect Ntini and the mob might have had in the VB series, but it is pretty obvious that the Aussies played shocking cricket.

  • As an Australian, all I can say is ouch. I really didn't expect to see the Aussies win, but that wasn't a loss, it was a crushing defeat.

  • With Punter, Symonds and McGrath out though, it's hardly suprising the Proteas won. It was a good knock from Smith that's for sure, and a derseving win by the Proteas who played well, taking advantage of the rain and cover conditions.
